We all like all types of cars, but there's a certain type which we consider bait. My bait is JDM, because it's just cool.

Pretty much anything, but I do have a special place for Cobras, especially Daytona Coupes.

I am slowly starting to become a fan of the Blue Oval. I've never thought much about them but that's been changing since about the last couple years. And yea, I'm stoked as shit for the Focus RS. It's already been wife-approved! Ha ha.
Now, for my bait, Shelby Cobra. Plain and simple. Muscle cars from the late 60's, early 70's are a close second, but if I got the option to go for a test drive in any muscle car or drive 20 yards in a Shelby Cobra, Cobra all the way.
![]() 02/05/2015 at 19:47 |

Purple cars and lightweight sports cars. Add the two together and hnnnnnnnnnnng...
![]() 02/05/2015 at 19:47 |

I can't believe I forgot to include the Cobra on my list.

No matter how hard I try, I can't bring myself to like Ford. All because I used to be friends with a relentless, irritating Ford elitist.

Old, Japanese, possibly brown.

I'm also pretty good with Skylines, I've had close mates who have owned probably every generation of Skyline except for the Hakosuka. my Auntie had a Kenmeri/240k back in the 80's and she said it was shit and traded it for a 240z

I used to absolutely hated Ford a while back and it was all due to a 1996 Ford Explorer "Eddie Bauer" that I had. That thing was absolute shit. And no matter who I brought it to, it always had more problems coming out than going in. I recently upgraded my family from three to four and driving around in a Chevy Aveo just wasn't happening. Ended up (reluctantly) buying a 2010 Explorer. Honestly, I love the damn thing. And I hated admitting it. But it's comfy, spacious, and has all the room I need for extra stuff. We originally looked at an XTerra and we loved that Nissan made use of any nook and cranny they could instead of just making everything flush. We decided it was just a little too small so we looked at the Pathfinder. I was shocked. Same year as the XTerra and tiny as shit on the inside. No little nooks to hold things. It felt cramped. We found a 2010 Explorer, checked it out, saw the amazing use of space, bought one. A car buying decision that, as of yet, I do not regret.

Four things. Pre-Fiat Lancias, japanese Luxobarges, pre-1989 Nissans, anything with ridiculous engineering solutions. Honorable mention goes to straight sixes.

Let's pretend this wasn't obvious.

I know how that goes. I liked RWD Volvos until I met the president of a local Volvo club who was a massive Volvo Elitist douche who could not like any other car at all and would hate on you if you did. Also I am a fully recovered Ford/Mustang Elitist (I was one in my late teens early '20s)

If it has at least 2 wheels and a motor, I'm into it. But my big 3 are Trans Am racers, militaria, and Repsols.

VW actually gave survivors and their families reparations voluntarily for using them as salves.

Peugeots from the eighties and nineties; Citroens from pretty much whenever, most European Fords, and close to every old Lancia. Mainly the nineties Peugeots, though.

Anything Italian, anything hybrid or electric (yes, that's right), or anything that Carroll Shelby got his hands on. So those are all practically the same thing.

Certainly Sir. I have a couple of mates with Discos, but with nowhere near the level of investment you've put into yours!
![]() 02/06/2015 at 13:53 |

The only investment I have done so far is just the upkeep. I am just now getting into a place in life where I can start doing the upgrades to mine.

Same here with my Series. I've just put the original mil-spec roll cage on today, and if I didn't have wallpaper to strip this weekend I'd be spending the whole time cleaning the chassis up instead. I think I might have a fair bit of welding to do :/
